When you head to the SLSA 2022 registration page, once you have navigated through the registration process, you’ll be offered the option of using some of our discounted rates for hotels in York. You are welcome to book your own accommodation elsewhere in the centre, but we have a number of options available in our booking portal.
Please note that these preferential rates are only available until the 7th March 2022 – after that point, delegates booking onto the conference will need to sort their own accommodation.

Location: City centre, next to the Barbican entertainment venue. Close to our conference shuttle bus.

How to get there: BY ROAD: Exit A1(M), follow A64 and take the 3rd turn for York A19. Follow signs for the Barbican. Parking is next door in the Q-Park facility and is £13 a day. BY RAIL: From York station it is approximately a 10-15minute walk or you can take a taxi or a short ride on the number 7 bus

Location: Outskirts of city centre by the river Foss and still only a 15 minute walk to the Minster and the Shambles market. Close to our conference shuttle bus.

How to get there: BY ROAD: Exit A1(M), follow A64 and take the 3rd turn for York, A19. Continue down Fishergate for half a mile and the hotel will be on the left. Parking on site is £14 per night. BY RAIL: The hotel is approximately a 25 minute walk from the station or you can take a taxi or the number 7 bus.
